1. Introduction

Welcome to Franklyn Travel Tours. By accessing our website and booking our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. These terms govern the relationship between Franklyn Travel Tours and you, the client, regarding all travel arrangements and excursions.

2. Booking and payment policy

Reservations: To confirm a booking, clients must provide the required information and, in some cases, a deposit or full payment as specified at the time of booking.
Pricing: All rates are displayed in US Dollars (USD) unless otherwise stated. Prices are subject to change, but once a booking is confirmed and paid, the price is guaranteed.
Payment methods: We accept major credit cards, online payment platforms, and cash payments where applicable.

3. Cancellation and refund policy

We understand that plans can change. Our refund policy is as follows:

Cancellations by the client: Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the scheduled tour time are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations made within 24 to 48 hours may be subject to a 50% cancellation fee. No refunds will be issued for “no-shows” or cancellations made less than 24 hours before the activity.
Cancellations by the company: Franklyn Travel Tours reserves the right to cancel or reschedule tours due to extreme weather conditions, safety concerns, or unforeseen technical issues. In such cases, clients will be offered an alternative date or a full refund.

4. Safety and client responsibility

Health and physical condition: Some excursions involve physical activity. Clients are responsible for ensuring they are in fit physical condition to participate. Please inform us of any medical conditions or allergies prior to the tour.
Personal belongings: Franklyn Travel Tours is not responsible for the loss, theft, or damage of personal items (cameras, jewelry, electronics, etc.) during our excursions or transfers.
Conduct: We reserve the right to refuse service to any person who is under the influence of illegal substances or whose behavior is disruptive or dangerous to themselves or others.

5. Limitation of liability

Franklyn Travel Tours acts as an intermediary for various travel services. While we strive to provide the highest quality service and safety, we are not liable for any injury, loss, or delay caused by third-party providers, weather conditions, or any other “Force Majeure” events beyond our direct control.

6. Travel insurance

We highly recommend that all travelers obtain comprehensive travel insurance that covers trip cancellations, medical emergencies, and personal liability before arriving in the Dominican Republic.

7. Use of images and media

By participating in our tours, you grant Franklyn Travel Tours permission to use any photographs or videos taken during the excursion for promotional or marketing purposes, unless you explicitly request otherwise in writing before the tour begins.

8. Privacy policy

Your personal data is handled with strict confidentiality. Please refer to our Privacy Policy section to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information.

9. Governing law

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Dominican Republic. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in the Dominican Republic.
